Charles created this site to help mortgage seekers find the information they need to make an informed decision, and
get them the absolute best mortgage deal available for their circumstances - sorted from the thousands and thousands on the market.
Charles Founder / Managing Director
After spending many years working on the relationships between mortgage advisers and their customers, Charles decided to branch out and start a new company that would provide customers with easy access to honest and essential mortgage information. Thus, Best Mortgage Deals was born. Charles brings a wealth of experience in the mortgage market, a deep understanding of the advice and deals that people seek, and a real empathy with the potential complexity of taking out a mortgage. Charles aims to help customers reduce the stress of getting a loan while making the best financial decision of their lives. After all, Charles knows that if you find the right mortgage you can save money for other fineries in life (currently Charles is saving his pennies to buy a DeLorean).
Gary WebberHead of Mortgage Advice
After earning his MA in Economics, Gary spent 10 years in the corporate office of a high street bank researching and establishing the standard structure of mortgage advice provided to clients. Gary came to the Best Mortgage Deals in order to work more directly with customers. When he's not in the office, Gary and his lovely wife Susan volunteer with their local amateur theatre company.
Bonnie PowellFinancial Director
Bonnie earned her BA in Business Management and spent 5 years working as an independent financial advisor for clients with bad credit. After completing a year-long internship in the United States, Bonnie developed her love for traveling and collecting foreign currency.
Thomas KaptmanTechnical & Design Director
Born in Zurich, Switzerland, Thomas began his technical career by developing a security system currently used in several large financial corporations. Upon arriving in the UK, Thomas joined the Best Mortgage Deals team to oversee the smooth running of the company IT and web site. In the evenings, Thomas can often be found playing bass guitar in his band.
